This quote from Oscar Wilde from the 18th century still goes strong and hits hard.
Since the very beginning, this question has wandered around the minds of every human being. Can a girl and boy be nothing but friends?
And time and time again, it has been proven that they can't. Because one of them will eventually fall for the other, and the friendship will come to an end.
However, we have seen many such people who are friends with people of the opposite sex. So, the question is, how do they do it? And why do they do it?
Let's try to break it down little by little. As far as I know, there are only three types of men who befriend women. And I will go on to explain them in this blog, point by point.
The Dahmers (who pursue their love through friendship):- "Without being friends, you can’t love." "Without being in love, you can’t be friends."
The key to a strong relationship starts with friendship. The guys in this category take things slow.
They don't want to reach the top too quickly, so they take small steps. Their agenda is to turn the friendship into a relationship.
kind of like a cliche line from an old Bollywood movie. But, in reality, there are people who would lure you into the bond of friendship and then strike you with their stupid proposal and ruin it.
The FBI (Friends for Beneficial Information): "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
Okay, the quote is a little off, I know, but it makes sense. Check it out.
Women are not enemies, but since they do not belong to the same category as men, we are rather curious to know what goes on behind the curtain.
In order to find out how the other side lives, you need to blend in. Hence, the FBI doctrine. Police use tippers in the same way that they use tippers to find thieves and criminals.
When you become a woman's best friend, you are guaranteed to learn her secrets. which you can put to use to woo other women.
Although you might think that this is stupid and far-fetched, try thinking hard about it, and you'll know why the FBI method is highly regarded by the majority of men throughout the world.
Although this category might fall under the friendship zone between men and women, it's kind of a compromised one with a selfish agenda. Hence, this proves the title point I am trying to make.
The Teds and Robins of the world:- Now, this is more of a backup partner friendship, or you can say "Backup Confederate Conundrum, or BCC."
In this situation, the second person hides their feelings from the first and tries to keep them sidelined. People on the street frequently refer to this as having a stupid best friend.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you see a person of the opposite gender as their best friend, that person isn't their best friend. Plus, you, the person who is acting like a friend, can be sure that the other person knows that about you. So the sooner a breakup occurs in an otherwise perfect relationship, the sooner you get in.
Conclusion:- I am sorry to the girls who think that a guy and a girl can be just friends. But, looking at the big picture, you now have a better understanding of the relationship that a man and a woman primarily share. However, there may be some unusual examples, but that does not mean they invalidate mine.
