Top Ten Anime for People who are Sad: Series



When you are sad nothing goes or happens that makes you feel good. People often tell you that this will pass but only a sad person knows that it doesn’t. It’s a phase of life that will get over but when? Nobody exactly knows. The more you try harder to get out of it, the more you get sucked back in. What people fail to take into account is that it’s not instantly possible to feel good and better cause when you are sad you wanna embrace that emotion. Want to relate more with that and the more you feel that, the better you understand that and then start the progress. Feel-good movies or shows are something people often recommend to people who are sad but it never helps. As you don’t feel resonated with the story at all and for that I got you covered. I have in today’s list Ten Animes that are for you if you are Sad. They are not feel-good animes but are sad so that you can resonate with them and start doing something about it.

 

Why Anime, one might ask. For those people, my answer is “The way anime has portrayed emotions is way better than any other cinema around and that’s why, Why Not Anime!”

ViVid Strike –



Synopsis:

Raised up in the same orphanage, Fuuka and Rinne were once close friends but parted company after a quarrel ended up with Rinne overwhelmed Fuuka with her martial art skills. Fuuka has a life in poverty after leaving the orphanage. An accidental encounter with renowned martial arts champion Einhald Stratos discovered Fuuka's hidden talent in fighting; Einhald offered Fuuka a job and coaching, encouraging her to meet up with Rinne again—in a ring.


Steins Gate –



Synopsis:

When Rintarou decides to attend neuroscientist Kurisu Makise's conference on time travel, he experiences a series of strange events that lead him to believe that there is more to the "Phone Microwave" gadget than meets the eye. Apparently able to send text messages into the past using the microwave, Rintarou dabbles further with the "time machine," attracting the ire and attention of the mysterious organization SERN.

 

Anohana The Flower We Saw –



Synopsis:

A group of six childhood friends drifts apart after one of them, Meiko "Menma" Honma, dies in an accident. Ten years after the incident, the leader of the group, Jinta Yadomi, has become withdrawn from society and lives as a recluse.

 

Akame Ga Kill –



Synopsis:

A young countryside boy sets to the capital with the dream to become part of the country's army. Unsuccessful he encounters a woman who promises him a chance to enter the army if he pays her enough, the young boy unaware gives all his money and then finds out that he was tricked.

 

Clannad –



Synopsis:

One day while walking to school, Tomoya passes a young girl muttering quietly to herself. Without warning, she exclaims "Anpan!" (a popular Japanese food) which catches Tomoya's attention. He soon discovers the girl's name is Nagisa Furukawa and that she exclaims things she likes in order to motivate herself. Nagisa claims they are now friends, but Tomoya walks away passing the encounter off as nothing.

 

Chrono Crusade –



Synopsis:

The anime takes place in 1928, in the Order of Magdalene. A fictitious religious organization meant to eradicate demons off the face of the Earth. After contracting with a demon named Chrono four years ago, Rosette Christopher is devoted to finding her brother Joshua who vanished in the name of Aion. An evil ruthless demon and blood paths between him and Chrono come to a meet once again four years after their confrontation.

Erased



Synopsis:

Erased follows the Story of Satoru Fujinuma who is a 29-year-old aspiring manga artist with the ability to travel backward in time to prevent terrible things from happening. After the murder of a loved one, he is launched back further in time than he has ever gone to prevent the tragedy from taking place.

 

Naruto



Synopsis:

It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who seeks recognition from his peers and dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The story is told in two parts – the first set in Naruto's pre-teen years, and the second in his teens.

 

Tokyo Revengers



Synopsis:

Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old freeter, learns one day that his middle school ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, as well as her younger brother Naoto, have been killed by the Tokyo Manji Gang. When Takemichi is pushed in front of a train, he teleports exactly 12 years into the past to 2005.

Synopsis:

Fourteen-year-old piano prodigy Kōsei Arima becomes famous after winning several music competitions. When his mother Saki dies, Kōsei has a mental breakdown while performing at a piano recital; this results in him becoming unable to hear the sound of his piano, even though his hearing is otherwise unaffected.
